ArmInfo. Government of Russia submits a Bill to State Duma to fine unrecorded trade with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) i.e. failure to submit statistical data to the Federal Customs Service, Kommersant newspaper writes. Russian participants of the trade with the EEU will face 50,000-100,000 rubles fine for ignoring accounts and records.
The bill looks to improve the statistics of mutual trade of Russia with Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan and imposes fines for failure to report on their operations to the Federal Customs Service: 10,00-15,000 rubles for first violation and 30,000 rubes for repeated violation by officials and 20,000- 50,000 rubles and up to 100,000 rubles for legal entities and privates. To avoid fines, one can report about mistakes in the accounts and records to the Federal Customs Service voluntarily.
According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, exports to EEU in the period from Jan-Oct 2015 totaled $38 billion, imports - $38.1 billion.
