Bank was the first bank in Armenia to launch regular seminars to assist its customer-SMEs and all the other ones that will apply for participation at all stages of their activity. According to the source, the seminar will be covering 5 sensitive issues, offering theoretical knowledge and practices for optimal business management and use of a number of marketing instruments. In future, the seminar topics will be expanded.
The previous seminar for SME leaderships was held in November 2015. To attend the event, SME representatives are required to contact the Bank's call-center: (010) 31 88 88 (81-45, 81-49) or register at the Bank's branches in Yerevan.
According to ArmInfo's Financial Rating of the Armenian Banks, SME accounts for nearly 30% of the Bank's loan portfolio or more than 50bln drams. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank's SME finance portfolio accounts for some 10% of the total SME finance in the banking system of Armenia.
To note that the "ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank" is functioning in Armenia since 1995, initially under the name Cooperative Agricultural Bank. Since September 2006, Credit Agricole SA of the largest European banking group becomes the majority shareholder of the bank with the share of equity of 15.56%, followed by the largest participation of SJSC "Sacam International" corporation (member of Credit Agricole SA) - 12,44%, in addition to which there are 10 Unions of Farmer's Assistance (UFA) participating in the capital. Coverage of the branch network and the number of regional branches of the bank takes the second position - 56 units, most of which are located in the regions (41 branches) ensuring the presence in all regions of Armenia, without exception. According to key balance sheet figures ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank in 2015 strengthened its position in the TOP-5.
