Opening and maintenance of account for receiving maternity allowance is free in Anelik Bank

ArmInfo. Opening and maintenance of account for receiving maternity allowance to non-working mothers is free in Anelik Bank, press-service of Anelik Bank informed ArmInfo.

According to the source maternity allowance may be received in the headquarters of Anelik Bank or in any of its branches by providing passport and social card after passing relevant documentation process in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.

"I want to pay attention to the fact that maternity allowance is not a maternity capital, which is paid to women lump-sum as an encouragement for giving birth to a baby. However, one can visit Anelik Bank also for receiving maternity capital, and an account of state allowance will be opened and maintained free of charge moreover, 12% annual interest will be calculated on the account balance", Astghik Martirosyan, press secretary of Anelik Bank, explained, informing that maternity allowance provided by the state to non-working mothers totals 126645 AMD lump-sum.

To note, the sole owner of Anelik Bank is Credit Bank S.A.L.  (Lebanon), which increased its stake in the Bank from 89.95% to 100% in Q4 2013.
