ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan discussed with Ambassador of United Arab Emirates to Armenia Jassim Mohamed Al Qasemi opportunities for development of political and trade economic cooperation, the press-service of the Armenian government reports.
During the meeting Abrahamyan stated that the relations between Armenia and Emirates have big potential for development. In this context he assured that the government is ready to assist in implementation of join programs and projects. In his turn the Ambassador expressed gratitude to Abrahamyan for assistance in the rapprochement in relations of the two countries. He noted that the turnover between the countries grew last year and investments were made in the fields of agriculture and tourism of Armenia. According to the Ambassador the investors from UAE are interested in investing in various fields of Armenia including real estate and currently visit of a group of businessmen from UAE to Armenia is being organized. According to the Ambassador the number of tourists from UAE to Armenia significantly grew and they visit the country also with purposes of medical treatment.
The interlocutors expressed assurance that the efficient cooperation between the governments of Armenia and UAE will contribute to further development of economic relations between the countries. The Ambassador conveyed to Hovik Abrahamyan UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's invitation to visit Dubai for participating in International Expo.
