South Caucasus Railway launches seasonal train running to Lake Sevan
ArmInfo. The South Caucasus Railway (SCR) CJSC launches its electric train to Lake Sevan on June 16. The train will be running from Hrazdan to Yerevan (Almast) and then to Sevan (Shorzha) every day except Wednesdays.
According to the Company, on the working days the train will be running to the Sevan Station, while on weekends - to the Shorzha Station.
The timetable is available on the company's website. The train will ensure comfortable travel to Lake Sevan for travelers and tourists.
CJSC "South Caucasian Railway" is a 100% subsidiary of JSC "Russian Railways" and provides concession management of Armenian railroads. CJSC "Armenian Railways" was referred to the concession management to the company "SCR" according to the Concession Agreement signed on February 13, 2008. The term of the concession management is 30 years with possible extension for another 10 years.
