On the threshold of its 20th anniversary ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank launches special campaign offering MasterCard Gold premium class credit card on beneficial terms

ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank offers to obtain a MasterCard Gold card with minimum 200,000 AMD or relevant foreign currency credit line July 1st-September 30th with no commission fee for the first year of card service and benefit from the exceptional package of advantages developed by MasterCard. The press-service of the bank has informed ArmInfo that MasterCard Gold is a premium class payment card of MasterCard Worldwide system.

According to the source, credit line on MasterCard Gold has a grace period: no interest is calculated towards the payment transactions made by the credit funds of the card until the 14th day of the following month. At the same time an international package of benefits has been developed by MasterCard which gives the cardholders opportunity to make payments in various countries and enjoy exclusive discounts and privileges.

According to ArmInfo's analytical review "Armenian Banks in the Card Business," ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is among TOP-3 banks by the number of active cards and by the number of Visa, and is in TOP-10 by number of MasterCard. As of April 1 2016 the bank had 181,000 active cards, ArCa local cards account for 104 thousand of total cards of the Bank, Visa cards total 61.4 thousand of total, and MasterCard - 15.3 thousand.  The bank holds the 2nd position by the amount of the transactions with plastic cards, which totaled 190 bln AMD (up 14.3% in 2015). ATM transactions account for 80% or 153 bln AMD of total transaction with plastic cards. The bank holds the 1st position by the number of its own POS-terminals and ATMs. The number of POS-terminals is 1213 and ATMS 200.

To note, "ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank" CJSC has been operating in Armenia since 1995. Since September 2006, the majority shareholders of the Bank have been Credit Agricole S.A.  (15.56%) and SJSC "Sacam International" (part of Credit Agricole S.A - 12.44%). Along with them, 10 agricultural cooperative unions hold shares in the capital of ACBA- Credit Agricole Bank. By the coverage of the branch network and the number of regional branches, the Bank holds the second position.  According to the key balance sheet figures, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is in the TOP-5.
