ArmInfo. One should not expect fast changes in Armenia's economy, newly appointed Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan stated today at the parliament.
According to him the government program, which will be presented to the parliament in the nearest future, will consist of two phases. Fast changes are not envisaged on the first phase, the steps that can be taken in the nearest future will be used. On the second phase the main areas for the country's development will be defined. The Prime Minister noted that during the implementation of the new program provisions of the previous government's program will be also used. Professional skills of each candidate will be considered while forming the cabinet of ministers, not depending on their party membership.
Government's efforts will be aimed at reduction of social tension and business development. "One should realize that there is no magic wand. If there is need in reforms these reforms should become system ones, all the more, the real sector of economy is in quite complex condition", the Prime Minister noted.
