Brink: United States support Armenian economy reforms

ArmInfo. For long years   Armenian-American trade relations are in the center of attention of   the United States Embassy in Armenia, stated Bridget Brink, the US  Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia talking  about possible new projects between two countries. 

She mentioned also that during recent 18 months the United States  have implemented large investments into Armenian Economy, which is a  positive step from the point of economic attractiveness.  Brink  couldn't state exactly, what the program of new US President will be  At the  same time she accentuated that everything will be done to  make the transition pure enough. 

Deputy Secretary of State stated  also that  within the margins of  meetings held in Armenia she was informed that official Yerevan   understands the importance of US attention   to  Nagorno  Karabakh  conflict settlement. She said that during her meetings she had   confirmed the  intention  to work with OSCE MG on the issue  mentioned, and the willingness to  keep with efforts in that. What is  to economic reforms in Armenia, they are very important from the  point of economic growth, and it is important also from another point  of view - from the point of prosperity of Armenia, and adoption of  the democratic reforms path, Brink resumed.
