ArmInfo. Ural Airlines open new flight from Rostov Don to Gyumri. Flights will be on Fridays. The new flight will be initiated within the beginning of winter vacations, because Armenia is the most comfortable place for those who love mountain skiing. And this is not a single flight. The company has also six flights per week from Rostov Don to Yerevan. To remind, recently Pobeda low coaster opened its booking for new international flights from Vnukovo (Moscow) to Gyumri. Pobeda's crafts will fly to Gyumri starting from December 15 three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
To note, it's a pretty long time that there are no flights from Shirak airport. The only flight from Gyumri to Moscow was stopped in the beginning of this year. Shirak airport is a subsidiary of Armenia's International Airports, established by well known Argentinean businessman of Armenian origin Eduardo Eurnekyan. The airport has a status of international, provides services to the segond city in Armenia - Gyumri.
Meanwhile, Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, during the presentation of RA Government program at the Parliament, commenting the question regarding Shirak airport of Gyumri, mentioned that there are negotiations being held with different airlines to redirect some flights to that airport
