The American Company of Agro Remara to deal with financial recovery of Ashtarak Kat

ArmInfo. American Company  of Agra Remara will deal wit financial recovery of Ashtarak Kat. According to the information shared by Suren Karayan, the Armenian  Minister of Economic Development and Investments, before the  beginning of the negotiations several consultations in respect to  Ashtarak Kat were held  with the representatives of Agra Remara,  general investor of the company Artak Asatryan and recovery  specialist Artak Avagyan.

"It looks like we are at the edge of the  solution. Today we try to understand, in which way the performance of  the company will proceed on, how many vacancies will be left and how  the  Ashtarak Kat debts  to farmers will be covered. Within this  purpose we devepoled a number of approaches, and we will discuss this  with new owners of the Company. This is necessary to understand in   what form and how the Ashtarak Kat will be reloaded," Karayan said. 

The Company of Ashtarak Kat was established in 1995 on the basis of  cheese plant in the village of Agarak. Company had almost 500  employees, and produced  ice cream of 45 kinds and  milk production  of about 50 kinds.Company cooperates also with about 6000 farms. In  the second half of November Ashtarak kat has stoped its activities  due to critical financial conditions.
