ArmInfo. Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan has met today with the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development headed by Francis Malige, Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus at the EBRD.
The Minister presented the planned steps for improving investment climate, protection of economic investments and attracting new financial funds.
In turn EBRD delegation presented the fields that are of priority interest for them, including IT, food industry and tourism. Malige in particular noted that EBRD sees great potential for development of tourism in Armenia.
The sides discussed issues of state-private sector cooperation, implementation of Ombudsman's institute and anti-monopoly policy.
