ArmInfo. The 17th session of the Committee on trade, economic and legal cooperation between Armenia and EU was held in Brussels on December 15. According to the information of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, Armenian delegation was leaded by Suren Karayan, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments. During the session a number of issues was discussed in respect to the future Agreement between Armenia and EU and prospective of trade-economic relations.
The Agenda comprised the issues on cooperation in the sector of justice, safety, transport and energy, as well as of Karabakh conflict settlement and Armenian- Turkish relations. The new European policies on neighborhood and Eastern partnership was also discussed within the context of Armenia-EU relations. To note, the turnover between Armenia and EU in January-September of 2016 formed USD 978,3 mln, within the year-over-year growth at 0,7%. In the structure of goods turnover the export formed USD 387,4 mln and with 13,6% growth, and the import - USD 590,9 mln with a dropdown for 6,2%
