Armenian government discusses business projects of Gegharkunik region 

ArmInfo. Armenian government has discussed business projects of Gegharkunik region on January 11, the press-service of the government informs.

All the presented projects on enlarging and developing cheese making, production of dairy and agricultural products, as well as prospects of attracting investors for implementation of the programs were studied in details.

Attaching importance to implementation and stimulation of investment programs in the regions of the country Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan noted that the government will co-finance and assist economically feasible prospective programs, the risks of which are estimated.

At the end of the meeting the Prime Minister instructed the Ministries of Agriculture, Economic Development and Investments and the Central Bank to study the possibilities of assisting implementation of the programs that have been approved. It is also planned to found a platform with the Central Bank's participation for holding business trainings for entrepreneurs.
