VTB Bank (Armenia) is 2nd largest taxpayer-bank for second year in a row

ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia)  ranks the second in the list of the largest taxpayer-banks. As  press-service of the bank informed ArmInfo, quoting State Revenue  Committee of Armenia, in 2016 VTB paid 3.4bln drams to the state  budget.

According to the State Revenue Committee VTB is the 29th on the list  of the largest taxpayers of the Republic. All the banks operating in  Armenia are among Top 1,000 taxpayers. In overall, the Top 1000 tax-  payers paid to the state budget 34.4bln drams in 2016.

To note, in 2015 VTB Bank (Armenia) was the 2nd among commercial  banks of Armenia, paying 4.4bln drams of taxes in state budget,  including 3.8bln drams as tax for profit and income tax. In the list  of the largest taxpayers of the republic, VTB Bank (Armenia) is on  the 24th position.

To recall, VTB Bank (Armenia) joined VTB Group in April 2004 and is  fully owned by VTB Group, the second biggest bank in Russia. VTB Bank  (Armenia) is one of the leaders of Armenia's banking sector. It has  67 branches all over the country (the largest branch network in  Armenia).
