ArmInfo. The passenger flow  of Zvartnots (Yerevan) and Shirak (Gyumri) airports during January-February 2017 grew for 21,6% versus that  of the same period in 2016, showing the number of passengers at 309,628.  According to the information shared with ArmInfo at the press office of the State Department of  Civil Aviation (SDCA) the passenger flow  at the international airport of Zvartnots in Yerevan for the reported period grew for 19.8%. The growth for February in comparison to the same period of last year formed 18,5% or 136263 passengers.

In January- February 2017 versus January 2016 the cargo transportation volumes  at Yeravan airport of Zvartnots formed 2576 tons, which is 49,4% higher than the same indicator of the last year.  The number of passengers departure  from   Shirak airport in February 2017 in comparison to that of the same period of 2016  increased for 233%, forming 4224 passengers. During January-February of this year the passenger flow in Gyumri grew for 150%. In common, the passenger flows increase is obvious - the number of arrivals and departures at Zvartnots and Shirak airports grew for 9,9%.  According to SDCA, by the results of 2016 Yerevan international airport of Zvartnots has crossed its historical maximum due to the number of passengers, exceeding 2 mln. Similar results were shown by Zvartnots airport in 1990.
