ArmInfo. The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) is interested in continuous cooperation with Armenia, said the Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan during a meeting with Secretary General BSTDB Seraphim Tsokas on March 6.
As the Ministry's press service told ArmInfo, BSTDB Secretary General arrived in Armenia with a delegation to attend in a business forum on March 7 in the framework of which the Bank will present strategies and products implemented in Armenia.
During the meeting S. Tsokas said: . At the same time, BSTDB Secretary General said that the forum will be attended by about 50 representatives in the framework of bilateral meetings. "We are interested in the development and implementation of programs relating to the business environment in Armenia", he said.
For his part, Vardan Aramyan, stressing effectiveness of the BSTDB policy, noted the eccentricity of the implemented programs in the Black Sea Bank of Armenia. In his opinion, at this stage there is a need for a platform that allowed us to develop ideas to turn into projects to produce effective results as soon as possible. At the same time V. Aramyan said that today the investment potential in Armenia have the energy, telecommunications, IT and others. In terms of attracting investment, he said, effective cooperation programs can be implemented within FEZ.
According to the source, during the meeting the sides discussed the programs implemented within the framework of cooperation.
To note, BSTDB is an international financial organization founded by the 11 states of the Black Sea region. BSTDB stimulates economic development and regional cooperation by providing the implementation of projects of public and private sectors of the member countries in loans, credit lines, guarantees, as well as by investing in capital and trade financing.
