ArmInfo. National postal operator of Armenia "HayPost" informs about the launch of the project PosTransfer. A new worldwide system of postal money transfers created under the wing of the Universal Postal Union.
The first stage of the pilot project will be implemented in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine. The new system will be fully implemented by the end of the year.
The decision to create a unified money transfer system was made in September 2016, at the Congress of the Universal Postal Union in Istanbul. "HayPost" CJSC reports about the readiness of a single platform, as well as corporate style and logo of the service. The system of postal money transfers PosTransfer provides the reception and payment of money transfers through the networks of post offices of national operators, using telecommunications facilities, including mobile applications.
The funds will be available immediately after their transfer, online, in accordance with operational and technological standards, common to all participating countries. It is expected that the remaining UPU member countries will join the Post-Transfer system at subsequent stages.
