ArmInfo. Tourism development Fund  expects 25 thousand participants for Armenian brandy festival to be  held on May 7 in Tsaghkadzor resort town and is arranged by combined  efforts of the given Fund and Tourism State Committee, Tigran  Karapetyan, the director of the Fund stated.

According to him, all the companies involved in brandy production,  which are interested in increasing awareness of Armenian alcohol  beverage at international markets, strengthening the positions and  searching new, which number goes above 30. "All the conditions are  set for the manufacturers to participate the festival, who, besides  advertising purposes will also promote the disposal of presented  production", Karapetyan noted, adding that special comfortable  pavilions are already ordered for passing the festival, concert  program is arranged and surprises are prepared.

"The festival will be accompanied with unprecedented advertisement of  the company and well-known media will give the information on that",  the Fund head stressed. He also added that the purposeful market for  Armenian tourist production and this festival is Russia. "In this  country an interest to Armenia and the festival is already noticed",  he stressed. Karapetyan assured that everything will be done for  festival to pass at high level and Armenian tourist production became  an interest for many countries. At that, he assured that the festival  would pass annually.

To note, according to Armenian National Statistic Service data, in  Jan-Feb 2016 21 529 2 thousand liter brandy was produced in Armenia  with annual growth of 27%.
