ArmInfo. Converse Bank is expanding the geography of its presence, this time opening the "Kotayk" branch in Armenia's largest wholesale and retail shopping center "Arindzh Mall". As the press service of the Bank told ArmInfo, the opening of this branch is the next step in the development and modernization of the branch network.
Thanks to this branch, visitors to the capital's shopping center "Arindzh Mall" and residents of nearby settlements can use the whole package of universal banking services: deposits, loans, currency conversion, local and international money transfers, etc. On the territory of the branch, the Bank will install ATMs and payment terminals.
Converse Bank plans to open 3 more branches in 2017, and also to repair and modernize 6 branches.
"Converse Bank has always attached particular importance to the availability of services, improving the quality and improving the terms of service, that is why the efforts to modernize the branches and expand the branch network are of a lengthy nature," the Bank's statement reads.
Taking into account the newly opened branch of "Kotayk", the branch network of Converse Bank has already 35 subdivisions, in particular 14 are located in Yerevan, 20 - in regions and 1 - in NKR.
To note, Converse Bank has been operating in the Armenian market since September 1996. As of January 1, 2017, the Bank's shareholders are Advanced Global Investments LLc (Eduardo Ernekian) - 80.94%, HayPost Trust Management B.V. - 14.06%, the Cathedral of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin - 5%, and the indirect holder of 100% of shares is Holding Company "Blakery Assets" LTD.
