ArmInfo. The number of participants of annual program "Month of my Finances", established by the initiative of Central Bank of Armenia, has increased from 5 to 7 thousand. On April 19, answering to ArmInfo question, the Head of the Centre for Consumer Rights Protection and Financial Accuracy of CB of Armenia Armenuhi Mkrtchyan during a press conference.
"About the number of applications for participation, I can say that the program is successful and we abserve a significant promotion", she stressed, noting that the majority of participants are from the capital, however the competition among pupils is attended by children from regions of Armenia.
"More and more popularity and scale gains excursion by buses across the city supported by the Yerevan Municipality, which presupposes visits to 8 financial structures, including banks, insurance companies, office of finance ombudsman, Nasdaq OMX Armenia", she said. At the same time, 30 seminars on 25 themes are to be organized in the building of CB, about the financial sector, which are to be held by 16 financial structures of Armenia.
The pupils under 12 will be able to participate in the competition of painting "Where the money come from", for the pupils 16+ a competition of infographics on the theme "how to make 1 to 2", "you should lend thinking".
To note, by the initiative of CB, the program of "month of my finances" started since October 1, 2014. The program is aimed at increasing confidence in finances among public and strengthening of knowledge in sector of finances.
