Armenian Government to support business in a new way

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan called on to support business in a new way in the prior sectors for the state. The head of the government presented basic thesis for business support during governmental meeting on May 4.

According to Premier, it is time to support the workers and newly created entities of the prior sectors. In particular, the Premier offers to modify new approaches on subsidizing by the state the certain percentage of commercial credit enterprises provided by banks

As Karapetyan considers, the given policy will be aimed at increasing efficiency and compatibility of the economy, new jobs opening.  

In this light, the Premier instructed the Minister of Economic Development and Investment Suren Karayan, the Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan and the Minister of Agriculture Ignaty Araqelyan to discuss clear offers on subsidizing bank percentage jointly with Central and commercial banks. "We already implement such subsidizing in the sector of agriculture in the sphere of drip irrigation, the creation of intensive gardens, agricultural machinery in leasing, as well as in other sectors of the economy, including light industry. We are committed to subsidizing loans in priority and promising sectors for us at the start-up stage", the Premier explained.
