ArmInfo. Today, a two-day Business Forum "Eurasian Economic Union: Armenia-Cooperation" began its work in the resort town of Tsakhkadzor. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the member countries of EEU, members of the Armenian government, representatives of business structures of the EEU attended the event. The forum is called upon to unite the efforts of business structures in the development of the export potential of the EEU.
As the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia told ArmInfo, the Kazakhstan delegation was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the "National Agency for Export and Investment "KAZNEX INVEST" M.Maykenov and also employees of the Embassy of Kazakhstan.
According to the press service of the diplomatic mission, the role of the chambers of commerce and industry in the development of small and medium-sized businesses and the promotion of exports to foreign markets remains, as before, decisive. Taking into account the introduced updates to the trade rules within the framework of the EEU and the expansion of free trade zones at the CCI of the member countries of the Union, special hopes are attached to the implementation of coordinated information work among businesses, especially among those countries that do not share borders with each other, like Kazakhstan and Armenia.
Within the framework of the forum, there are bilateral meetings of representatives of Kazakhstan and Armenian companies "business 2 business", during which Kazakh producers receive exhaustive information about the prospects in the Armenian market for the implementation of manufactured products, as well as personal meetings and acquaintances with specific counterpartners. Kazakhstan business delegation is represented by manufacturers of food, cable-conductor, chemical and feed mill products.
