ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan and Gazprom JSC head Alexei Miller visiter construction site of multifunctional educational-sport complex in Avan community, in Tsarav Aghbyur street on June 16.

According to the Government press service, Prime Minister and Gasprom JSC management chairman got acquainted with the process of constructive works, which are in total extent. The complex is being built in accordance to the modern technologies. It will include  a kindergarten, a school, a swimming pool, an ice rink, a football field, as well as sports and dance halls. The complex can receive 2 thousand people a day.  Construction and installation work has already been carried out to erect a covered ice rink,  sport and health complex, a school and a kindergarten. The project, which is of a social nature, is fully implemented by Gazprom JSC.

Alexei Miller stressed that Gazprom, being socially responsible company, pays importance to the construction of such high quality e4ducational-sport complex in Armenia, which will allow children  to be engaged in various sports. He stressed that in the future the company intends to implement new social projects in Armenia.

Earlier today, during the meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan Alexei Miller informed that the new complex will be given  to exploitation by the end of 2018. As it was informed earlier Gazprom will invest $49.36 mln in the  construction of the complex.  According to the plan three  facilities-educational, sport and health center and recreation zone  will be constructed on the territory of 31841 square meters. The  educational center will include a kindergarten for 250 children,  school for 950 children, as well as roofed swimming pool and field  for mini football. Sports and health zone will include play zone,  roofed rink with artificial ice for 350 people, where trainings, competitions on hockey, figure skating will be held. More than 230  job places will be opened for servicing the complex.
