ArmInfo. The Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia Ashot Manukyan, on July 10, participated in an unofficial meeting of Easter Partnership member states in Kishinev, the ministry's press service reports.
According to the source, the questions referring energy efficiency development were discussed as well as energy suppleness.
Ashot Manukyan presented the participants of the meeting achievements and forthcoming plans of Armenia in the sphere of energy saving and energy efficiency.
Speaking about the plans for the development and implementation of legislation for the member countries of the Eastern Partnership that promote energy efficiency, the director of the energy community, Janez Kopach, emphasized the advantages of Armenian legislation. He noted that Armenia in this area has outstripped a number of EU member states.
During the event, Ashot Manukyan met with the European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy, as well as with the heads of delegations of the Eastern Partnership countries.
