ArmInfo. European Investment Bank is ready to discuss new programs aimed at cooperation with Armenia, vice-President EIB Vazil Hudak stated on July 28 at a meeting with Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan.
According to Armenian Finance Ministry press service, Vardan Aramyan stressed the importance of the current level of cooperation with EIB, in particular, the assistance provided by the Bank in implementing programs in such areas as energy, transport, water supply, solid waste management. Minister expressed readiness for further expansion of cooperation.
The head of Ministry of Finance presented current social-economic state of Armenia, the main trends of the economy development, as well as steps of Armenian Government, aimed at developing the economy of the republic.
Vazil Khudak also noted the importance of forming multi-sphere cooperation with Armenia. According to him, EIB is ready to discuss new programs aimed at further cooperation, including opportunities to promote the development of public-private partnership in Armenia.
