In June, aluminum foil production decreased by 5.2% to 2,845  tons.  The production of aluminum rolled products during the  reporting period amounted to 444 tons with an annual growth of 148  times, against a decline of 70% a year earlier. Only in June the  volume of aluminum rolled steel production decreased by 1.3% to 157  tons.

The production of steel pipes in the reporting period increased by  65.4% per annum - to 4,706 tons (against a decline of 46.3% a year  earlier), but only in June it was recorded a 2.8-fold increase to  2,504 tons.

Data on the production of molybdenum briquettes in the statistics of  the reporting period are absent, while a year earlier in the same  period the volume was 367 tons.

All metals produced in Armenia are exported, mainly to Europe and the  USA.

In 2016 the metallurgy industry of Armenia reduced production by  11.1% per annum, against a 0.5% decline in 2015. In particular, the  production of molybdenum briquettes was reduced by 50.9%, aluminum  rolled products by 47.7%, steel pipes by 22.6%, zinc concentrate by  30.3% and aluminum foil by 2.1%, while In 2016, growth was recorded  in the production of ferromolybdenum - by 16.9%, convertor (rough)  copper - by 11.4%, copper concentrate - by 23.1%, and molybdenum  concentrate by 2.1%.
