ArmInfo. MTS Armenia  (VivaCell-MTS trademark) is now leading in the list of the largest  taxpayers among Armenian telecoms operators, paying 4.6 billion drams  to the state budget in the first half of 2017, of which 236.2 million  drams - on customs duties, 1.7 billion drams - On direct taxes  (including profit tax, income tax), 1.8 billion Drams - on indirect  taxes (including VAT, excise tax). In the same list of 1000 largest  taxpayers, "MTS Armenia" (VivaCell-MTS trademark) occupies the 11th  position, against the 13th year earlier.

According to the published data of the RA State Revenue Committee,  four telecom operators paid 12.3 bln drams to the state budget for  taxes in the first half of 2017 (an annual decline of 14.6%), of  which 4.3 bln - in direct taxes Profit tax, income tax) and 4.4  billion - on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax)."Armenia  Telephone Company" (BeeLine trademark), deducting 4.4 billion drams  to the budget through taxes, of which 1.4 billion - on direct  (including income tax, income tax) and 1.9 million - on indirect (in  Including VAT, excise tax), payments on customs duties amounted  to681.4 million drams, ranked 12th in the total list of 1000 largest  taxpayers, against the 7th year earlier.  UCom, which paid 2.8  billion drams to the budget for taxes, out of which505.3 million  drams - on customs duties, over 1 billion drams - on direct  (including income tax, income tax) and 544.6 million drams- indirect  (including VAT, excise tax), took the 18th place in the general list  of 1000 largest taxpayers, against 21st year earlier.JNC Alfa (a  trademark of Rostelecom) paid out 298.2 million drams to the budget  for taxes, 56.6 million drams from customs duties, 216.2 million from  direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax) and 61.2 million -  indirect (including VAT, excise tax), taking the 220th place in the  general list of 1000 largest taxpayers, against 164th year earlier.

Note that the data on Orange in the list of the largest taxpayers in  Armenia are no longer figured due to the merger with UCom in the  second half of 2015.It should be recalled that in the first half of  2016, five telecom operators paid a total of 14.4 billion drams to  the budget through the taxes, of which 5.9 billion drams fell on the  share of "Armenia Telephone Company" (ArmenTell, BeeLine trademark).  (The calculated exchange rate of AMD as of June 30, 2017 was 480.47  dr / $ 1).
