The production of canned food will soon be launched in Syunik region of Armenia

ArmInfo. Syunik Food will soon announce the opening of a new production facility in Syunik region of Armenia. The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Suren Karayan visited the construction site of the company the day before, got acquainted with the implementation of the investment company.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, at this stage construction works are being conducted to organize the production of canned food. Suren Karayan was reported that construction work is nearing its end and soon the enterprise will be launched.  As part of the investment program, the company plans to create 20 permanent jobs and 210 seasonal jobs.  About 60% of the products will be exported to the countries of the EEA, Georgia, EU and the USA.  Earlier, the government of Armenia freed the company from payment of duties on imports of technological equipment and raw materials.
