AGAPE company intends to conduct geological exploration in Armenia research for oil and gas reserves

ArmInfo. Company Armenian Cas and Power Enterhpisec Incorporated (AGAPE) intends to hold in Armenia geological exploration for oil and gas reserves. Details of the project were presented to the Minister of Nature Protection Artsvik Minasyan by the founder and CEO of Gram Johnson on September 22.

According to the Nature Protection Ministry press service, it is planned to carry out geological exploration work in Vayots Dzor and Syunik districts using seismic vibrators. The company submitted an application to the state non-profit enterprise "Environmental Impact Expertise". In conducting research in Syunik district, the company was denied because of the lack of full submission of documents, and the application for the 5th conditional territory in Vayots Dzor will be considered following public discussions that will be held in the regional administration on October 5. In the case of the success of exploration and the receipt of confirmation of oil and gas reserves in the industrial volume, the company, in accordance with the procedure established by law, to submit an application for the extraction of hydrocarbons to the state non- profit enterprise "Environmental Impact Assessment".
