At the same time, activity of USD transactions and EUR sales, accompanied by a decline in the buying of the European currency and the growth of RUR transactions, were observed in the intra-bank foreign exchange market, and more significant in terms of sales. The exchange currency market continues to be empty.
As a result, the AMD against the dollar was replaced by the devaluation from revaluation to 478.3 to USD 478.3 AMD/USD1, while strengthening to the EUR - from 571 to 563 AMD/EUR1 and continuing to hold positions to the ruble at 8.3 AMD/RUR1. A year earlier, on September 29, 2016, the exchange rate of the AMD to the USD was 474.5 AMD/USD1, to the EUR - 532 AMD/EUR1, and to the ruble - 7.5 AMD/RUR1, which, in comparison with the current rates, indicates the annual devaluation of the AMD to these currencies.
