ArmInfo. The leasing company ACBA Leasing and the Renewable Energy and Energy Saving Fund of Armenia signed an agreement on cooperation to increase energy efficiency in the non-gasified communities of Armenia.
As the press-service of the Bank ACBA-Credit Agricole informs, within the framework of the agreement, residents and legal entities of the order of 280 communities will have an opportunity to purchase leasing equipment for obtaining clean energy on leased terms.
According to the source, the conditions proposed by ACBA Leasing under this agreement are as follows: financing is carried out in drams, annual interest rate is 7%, prepayment is from 0%, maturity is up to 8 years.
"In 2014, ACBA Leasing created its subbrand "Green Leasing", within which we started financing the purchase of equipment for obtaining clean energy, which is a priority for us. This is evidenced by the financing of about 500 green-programs. We will continue to pay special attention to the implementation of such projects, since this sphere, in addition to being a business line, is considered a manifestation of the social responsibility of our banking group both in terms of protecting the environment and the public," said ACBA Leasing CEO Arsen Bazikyan.

A year earlier, in 2015 the volume of leasing operations decreased by 20%. The volume of leasing operations of ACBA- Leasing by January 1, 2017 amounted to 13.1 billion drams with an annual growth of 12%. In the total volume of leasing operations of banks and credit companies, the share of ACBA-Leasing is 78.5%.
