RUSAL to hold scientific festival in Yerevan

ArmInfo. RUSAL, one of the  world's largest producers of aluminum, which includes the ARMENAL  foil rolling plant, will hold the first scientific festival "RUSAL  FESTIVAL # Science" on October 25-27 in Yerevan. The purpose of the  event is to support the interest of schoolchildren in scientific  creativity and invention, engineering and technical areas in demand  at RUSAL's production facilities, popularization of science.

The festival will be held in the format of a large-scale interactive  event. His program includes the work of a scientific exhibition,  lectures by famous Russian and Armenian scientists, the display of  popular science films from the TV channel "Science 2.0", excursions  of schoolchildren to the ARMENAL foil rolling plant, an intellectual  game for senior pupils of the "Cup of Engineers" and the science game  "Space Agency". An interactive science fair will be working on  October 27 in the main building of Yerevan State University, which  will partner with RUSAL FESTIVAL #Science in Yerevan. At the  exhibition, children and adults will be told in fascinating form  about scientific discoveries, they will take part in master classes  and experiment shows, try the dishes of molecular cuisine, fight  robots, launch a quadrocopter, touch lightning, make microscopes from  their smartphones, immerse themselves in the world of virtual  reality, create three- dimensional shapes with the help of 3D-pens,  etc.

Visitors to the exhibition will be introduced to the properties of  metals, methods of obtaining and processing aluminum, and everyone  will be helped to make an aluminum souvenir.
