ArmInfo. The Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalsky, presented on October 11 a program supported by the EU under the title "Best Qualification for Better Work." This program worth 15.2 million euros will be implemented from 2017 to 2019.
The main executors of this program are RA Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as private sector organizations and social partners. The aim of the project is to increase efficiency and employment in the Armenian labor market. Particular attention will be paid to the promotion of employment in the agricultural sector. With the financial assistance of the EU, the new Erasmus + program, dealing with education and training, as well as issues related to youth and sports, implemented between 2014 and 2020, provides students and teachers the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in leading European universities. By the end of 2018, about 700 students and teachers from Armenia will receive EU grants for studies and teaching in Europe.
