ArmInfo. In Armenia, all postal and courier services are integrated into the customs accounting system of the international postal and courier service. This was reported by the press service of the Committee on State Revenues of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the source, the submission of the necessary data in an automatic mode is carried out electronically without the participation of citizens. Earlier, the submission of customs declarations was carried out exclusively at the customs office, and in case of need to pay tax deductions, Armenian citizens were forced to come to Yerevan with the purpose of customs procedures, which required time and money. Such a system did not contribute to the growth of postal orders and the development of international trade. Today, a citizen can pay taxes at the nearest post office. From the point of view of customs control, the system allows for automatic monitoring, reporting in an automatic format, applying data analysis and assessing the risks.
