"Teghut" CJSC denies information in the media about withdrawal of financing from the Danish EKF

ArmInfo. Today, Teghut CJSC  denied previously disclosed information in Armenia Media on the  Denmark's Export Credit Agency. It was about the recall of loan  provided by Danish partners for the implementation of programs for  the operation of the Teghut copper- molybdenum deposit in the Lori  region. Company's message provided to ArmInfo reads.

"The program of operation of the Teghut copper-molybdenum deposit in  the Lori region was implemented at the company's own funds and  borrowed funds from the VTB Group. Between Teghut CJSC and EKF there  has never been a loan agreement. Teghut did not receive any loan from  Danish partners. So there is no need to comment on the published  by EKF, the company says.

As part of the process of ore mining and enrichment at the Teghut  copper-molybdenum deposit, the company is constantly channeling funds  to further improve the knowledge and skills of its personnel, and is  also working with a number of internationally renowned companies,  including EKF, to introduce best practices and modern standards,  systems of environmental management, industrial safety and labor  protection.

According to the source, as a result of permanent works carried out  for 6 years, in September 2017, certificates of compliance with ISO  14001: 2004 (environmental management system) and BS OHSAS 18001:  2007 (occupational safety and health management system) were awarded.

A number of Armenian media on October 18 2017, spread information  specifically concerning the attitude of Teghut to the Danish company  EKF Denmark's Export Credit Agency after the publication posted on  the official website of the EKF on October 16 2017. In this regard,  the company found it correct to come up with a refutation statement.
