ArmInfo. From the announced by the government for 2017, $ 830-850 million investments in the economy of Armenia have already been managed to master 45% or $ 376 million for 8 months, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said at a press conference on November 2.
He stressed that large volumes of investments in 2017 are envisaged for such spheres as energy and natural resources - $ 220.2 million, of which 71% or $ 155.4 million have already been managed in 8 months, transport, communications and IT - $ 119.5 million (for 8 months already 35% or $ 42 million), urban development - $ 111.5 million (for 8 months, 29% or $ 32 million), agriculture - $ 101.3 million (22% or $ 22.6 million).
According to the prime minister, state investment programs will be implemented by various state agencies for credit or grant funds. The volume of investments envisaged will be provided by programs implemented in the framework of state-private sector cooperation, as well as by private investment programs that received advisory assistance, tax, customs and other benefits.
