ArmInfo. The Armenian insurance sector paid 2.1 billion AMD or 4.4 million AMD for January-September 2017, exceeding the figure of 31.3% a year ago. Of this amount, 1.9 billion AMD fell on direct taxes (including income tax and income tax), which is 26.7% higher than last year's figure. According to the RA State Revenue Committee, in the list of 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia, according to the results of 9 months of 2017, all 6 insurance companies operating on the market were included.
The list was headed by IC INGO Armenia, which took 153rd place (against 234th year ago), replenishing the state budget by 673.9mln AMD, of which 642.5mln AMD - on direct taxes. Rosgosstrakh Armenia Insurance Company, which took 160th place (against 204th year earlier), paid 643.5mln AMD to the state budget, 583.9mln AMD out of direct taxes. IC "Nairi Insurance" - 303rd place (against 283th year earlier), transferring 324.8mln AMD to the state treasury, incl. 300.4 million drams - profit tax and income tax. IC "Sil Insurance" took 475th place (against 487th year ago), paying 191.4mln AMD, of which the amount of profit tax and income tax was 167.4mln AMD. RESO Insurance Company - 649th place (against 662 the year before), paying 137.7 million AMD, out of which the amount of profit tax and income tax was 118 million AMD. IC "Armenia Insurance" - 664th place (against 479th year ago), paying 134.2 million AMD, of which 121.5 million - on direct taxes.
According to the Ranking of Insurance Companies of Armenia, prepared by ArmInfo News Agency, the aggregate accumulated profit of the insurance sector of Armenia by October 1, 2017 amounted to 5.2 billion drams, an increase of only 1.5% in the annual cut. By October 1, at the plus level, this figure was in 4 out of 6 operating companies. The annual increase in accumulated profit was provided only by two companies, while the remaining four companies sagged, with two with a deepening loss.
