ArmInfo. On the eve of the New Year holidays Bank Anelik launched a discount offer for VISA and MasterCard cardholders. As ArmInfo was told in the press service of the Bank, from December 4 to December 31, Visa Electron and Maestro / Cirrus cards can be purchased free of charge (without annual maintenance fee) and without a minimum balance on the account, while other VISA and MasterCard cards - 50% discount. To do this, you only need to submit a passport and social card.

"In addition to preferential conditions for the provision of cards within the framework of the promotion, holders will be able to enjoy discounts in the partner network of the Bank by making payment on the card using a cashless method.This discount is a good opportunity to make more profitable Christmas purchases," said Anelik Bank Director of Retail Business of Vardan Gevorgyan.

According to the source, the discount network of Bank Anelik includes partners- representatives of the trade sector and services, whose list is periodically updated.

According to the analytical review "Armenian banks in card business"  prepared by ArmInfo News Agency , the number of active cards of Anelik Bank  exceeded 34 thousand pieces by October 1, 2016, of which over 18  thousand - ArCa and more than 12 thousand - Visa, and the rest About  4 thousand - MasterCard. The total volume of plastic transactions was  increased by Anelik Bank on an annual basis by 42% to 33.2 bln AMD, of which about 12 bln is ATM transactions. The bank has 233 own  POS-terminals and 57 ATMs, mostly concentrated in the capital.
