The Czech Embassy will allocate 4.6 million AMD for the popularization of ecological thinking and lifestyle among the population of the Armavir region

ArmInfo. The Czech Embassy in Armenia will provide the regional administration of Armavir with 4.6 million in the framework of earlier agreements on the creation of a cleaner Armenia. The corresponding decision was approved at a government meeting on December 14.

According to the Minister of Territorial Administration and Development David Lokyan, an agreement was reached between the business circles of the Armavir region and the Czech Republic to create a modern landfill and a garbage disposal plant. As part of the implementation of this project, in accordance with the current regulations of the EU countries, at this stage it is planned to conduct preparatory work among the population for the popularization of ecological thinking and way of life. It is also planned to issue booklets aimed at promoting environmental culture and preserving nature.
