According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Economic Development and Investment, during the meeting of the commercial attache of the RA in the PRC, Hrant Abajyan presented the economic situation in Armenia, the steps of the authorities to improve the investment environment and its attractiveness. In particular, investment projects were presented to Chinese investors in the field of infrastructure, road construction, various industries, particularly in the mining and energy sector. Grant Abadzhyan also presented the potential and opportunities with the opening of a free trade zone in Meghri on the border with Iran.
Chinese investors have shown interest in a number of projects on which separate detailed discussions will be held. According to the trade attache of the RA in China, according to the agreement reached in the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade, soon a video about Armenia will be presented in China, which will be posted on the website of this organization. The video, which will be designed for a broad audience, will tell about Armenia's investment potential and its economy.
