ArmInfo. Many programs have been developed in Armenia, some of which can be implemented jointly with Philips Lighting. The Vice-President of the company Erik Benedetti announced this on December 22, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan stated.
According to the press service of the Armenian government, Karen Karapetyan stressed the importance of cooperation with Philips Lighting, especially in the implementation of innovative projects.
Eric Benedetti noted that the activity of Philips Lighting, which occupies a leading position in the sphere of innovations, is aimed at the production of modern, energy-saving high-quality lamps. He added that the company is ready to discuss the possibilities of expanding cooperation.
Karen Karapetyan proposed jointly with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies to discuss specific areas of cooperation and, based on these discussions, to develop a program of further actions.
During the meeting, it was discussed, in particular, the possibility of organizing the production of Philips Lighting in Armenia and mechanisms for the government's assistance in this matter.
