The rating is compiled from the data of requests and accommodation armor by tourists during the New Year's holiday weekend from December 30, 2017 to January 8, 2018. Minsk, Baku, Almaty, Tbilisi and Yerevan entered the top five cities of the CIS and the near abroad, popular for travel and recreation of Russians for the New Year. According to Tvil.ru, in the capital of Armenia tourists will come to rest the New Year on average for three days and spend 2.8 thousand rubles a day for living.
Accommodation in Yerevan will become one of the most inexpensive in the capitals of the CIS countries. Alpine skiing tours to Tsaghkadzor are also popular in Armenia.
For comparison, tourists will come to the Belarusian capital Minsk on the average for 3.5 days (2.8 thousand rubles), and in Almaty, for 6 days (3.2 thousand rubles).
According to the agency TurStat , Kahand Papa is among the most popular Santa Claus tourists in the CIS countries.
