ArmInfo. ZTE () is interested in its participation in the project of creating a regional Data center in Armenia. On the eve of the meeting with the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of Armenia Vahan Martirosyan, the head of the company's office for the Caucasus and the Baltic countries Tan Lioni said.
According to the press service of the Ministry, Vahan Martirosyan, welcoming the initiative of the company, stressed that this project is implemented in the format of public-private partnership. The government of the republic, he continued, is ready to negotiate with the private sector, which intends to invest in the project.
Tan Lioni said that he is aware of this project. He recalled that currently ZTE is cooperating with two Armenian operators in the sphere of fixed communication services and IP-TV. It is also planned to establish cooperation with another telecommunications company.
During the meeting, details of the implementation of the "Smart City" program were also discussed. The minister suggested that the company take part in this project.
