ArmInfo. After participating in November 2017 at the International Exhibition of Wines and Alcoholic Beverages in China ProWine China 2017, Armenian winemakers managed to conclude 4 contracts for the export of wine to China. The director of the Armenian Wine-Growing and Vinification Fund (VWFA) Zaruhi Muradyan told ArmInfo.
At that, she stressed that the export is not started yet, since China has strict requirements regarding the execution of documents for export deliveries. At the moment, the company, according to her, is at the final stage of negotiations. Besides, the head of VWFA added that from 5 to 9 February Armenian winemakers will take part in the 25th jubilee International Exhibition of Food, Beverages and Raw Materials for their production "PRODEXPO-2018" in Moscow. "Our key partner in the export of beverages is Russia, therefore, we still have much work to do to improve the recognition of Armenian wine on the Russian market," she concluded.
