ArmInfo. The Agricultural Development Fund has launched the second program, Competitiveness and Management of Agricultural Resources in Communities (CARMAC). This was reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Agriculture.
"The program was launched in 2015 and is aimed at promoting the agro-processing industry. In particular, we are talking about processing horticultural crops, meat, fish, dairy products, honey, growing valuable berries, etc.," Deputy Agriculture Minister Robert Makaryan said. He said that the selection of subprograms will be conducted on a competitive basis. In this regard, the deputy head of the department said that financial assistance is provided for the subjects of the agricultural sector, which have state registration, including private entrepreneurs, production, consumer and agricultural cooperatives, agro-processing enterprises. An exception would be public organizations and funds, which meet the requirements of the competition according to their criteria.
According to the source, participants will be given a month to submit business programs. The minimum duration of the subprogram should be a year, the maximum - 2 years. Financing is provided in the amount of $ 8 thousand to $ 50 thousand. Target financing for subprograms is not available to those applicants who failed or failed to successfully implement a program, or have already been the beneficiary of this program.
