The customer base of Armenian banks for 2017 replenished only by 0.1%

ArmInfo. The customer base of Armenia's banking system totaled 2,414,389 individuals and 82,100 legal entities by January 2018.

According to the Armenian National Statistical Service data, a total of 2,496,489 customers had 4,613,213 accounts with Armenian banks, of which 4,442,975 were physical bills and 170 256 were accounts of legal entities.

According to the source, for 2017, the customer base of Armenian banks increased slightly - by 0.1% or 2,931 customers, but only in the fourth quarter - by 2.2%. At the same time, the number of bank accounts for the reporting year increased by 1.3%, and quarterly - by 2.9%.
