Arman Barseghyan, the director of retail banking of Ameriabank, said this during a press conference on March 6. "If earlier in the retail lending we focused more on middle-class customers and premium customers, then with the launch of new services Ameriabank intends to become one of the main players in the market," he said.
The first service is scoring loans - the ability in minutes to get a consumer loan online in the amount of 100 thousand to 10 million AMD without collateral and / or guarantee. He stressed that when applying for a loan until March 31 commission for service will not be charged. The nominal interest rate on scoring loans is set at 21% per annum, maturing within 60 months. At the same time, as Barseghyan said, this proposal also applies to card products, and unlike consumer loans, overdrafts are available both in AMD and in dollars and euros.
The process of obtaining confirmation, assessment and decision-making is fully automatic. At the same time, the banker noted that for Ameriabank clients the approval of the loan and the conclusion of the agreement is in online mode. Potential clients should visit the bank only to identify the person and sign the contract, and the decision and evaluation are conducted online.
The second service concerns lending to the purchase of goods by installments, and here the process is also fully automated. As A. Barseghyan explained, the amount of the loan fluctuates within the limits of 100 thousand-1.5 million AMD, the interest rate does not exceed 24% per annum, and the repayment term - up to 60 months. "The service is already in great demand. We launched it in February, and already about 3 thousand loans were issued, "he said. In particular, within the framework of this service, the Bank cooperates with 5 partners (VEGA, MTS, Mobile Center, Zig Zag, Ucom). "The partner network will be expanded in April. We are still negotiating with seven partners, "he added.
Answering to the question of ArmInfo, Barseghyan noted: "We consider our new services not only in terms of ensuring accessibility and high quality of service for our clients, but also in terms of increasing the client base," he said. At the moment, out of the total volume of loans provided through scoring loans and installment purchases, about 40% fall not on the share of Ameriabank clients. "We should use the opportunity to present our other services in this format in the future," he stressed. In this vein Barseghyan stated that by the end of the year Ameriabank through these services intends to increase the client base by 40%.
"Only for a month of service, 70% of consumer loans are processed through a scoring system. Our customers immediately switched to digital channels, which shows how much the service was in demand, maybe we were even a little late with its implementation, "he said.
