Sovats.am:  Income is no as much important as quality of service

ArmInfo. Considering that each region of Armenia has its culinary characteristics, gastronomy in the country is quite rich. And in this direction the market continues to develop actively. In Yerevan, and not only, there are many restaurants and cafes for every taste and purse, where most importantly, you can eat deliciously. In particular, according to the preliminary results of the Internet voting of the National Geographic Traveler Awards 2017, Armenia is among the top five in the category "Gastronomy and Agrotourism". Along with the active growth of the number of gastronomy objects, the activity of the aggregator companies engaged in the delivery of food services is developing dynamically in the country and is becoming more and more popular.

Despite high competition, new players appear in Armenia, which offer customers a new format of service, contributing to the significant development of this segment in the market. One of these players is a new service in Armenia for delivery of food with its own courier service Sovats.am. In a conversation with ArmInfo, the director of the company Armen Sarkissian presented the features of the service of Sovats.am and shared his vision on the further development of the market.

A year and a half, according to A. Sargsyan, it took his team to study the market.

Returning to the results of the monitoring, Sargsyan noted that the number one problem in the food delivery market in Armenia is still the speed of the provision of services. Consequently, as the main competitive advantage, the company decided to make the delivery speed, which, according to the founder, will be an order of magnitude higher than the average market.

He added that with the improvement of the quality of cuisine in Armenia, today it is necessary not to yield to the aggregator companies in terms of quality indicators. The Sovats.am project, as Sargsyan noted, does not have an end in itself to ensure a high income - the prices will be akin to market ones. "However, we want to give more quality within the framework of this market price," the head of the company stressed.  However, he did not rule out a decline in income. "We are not prepared to have a high income. Our success will be in high quality service. The income can and be reduced. But at the expense of quality, I am sure that the scale of the services we provide will increase, which will result in the same income as a result, "he concluded.
