ArmInfo. The growth of salaries, pensions and benefits depends on economic indicators, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan stated live on Azatutyun.TV. Speaking about the current situation, he noted that discussions on the budget are continuing, and in general, the situation is positive. "If the trend continues to develop in this way, we can discuss this issue in more detail", stressed Avinyan.
When asked by the journalist about the amount that was returned to the budget due to the inspections in the tax field, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that currently the matter concerns about several tens of millions. However, in this light, he stressed that, in general, this is the visible part of the funds that was revealed and returned to the budget, whereas at the political level there are certain layers that should be withdrawn from the black market. "And today our goal is to create conditions so that business entities want to enter the tax field, which will create a completely different environment, and the matter will concern about several hundred millions," he explained.
Besides, in addition to this task, according to Avinyan, the government intends to identify and understand the objective problems of Armenia's business segment related to tax legislation. "Having a full understanding of what problems the business is facing today, we intend to simplify the Tax Code in the context of the new economic concept and revise rates," he concluded.
