According to the source, for the import of a new car from September 1 will need to pay 17% of its customs value. A few years ago, similar duties were 23%. For import of used cars older than 5-7 years from the date of their release, duties will amount to 22%. It is expected that next year the import duty rates may be reduced to 15%. New rates of duties on imported cars will be applied throughout the entire territory of the EAEU According to the decision of the EAEU oard, along with duties on cars, tariffs for more than 95 types of other goods will also be reduced.
